why give?

“Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!” (2 Corinthians 9:15)

When we encounter the generosity of God, it gives us a heart of generosity ourselves. This generosity enables us to fulfil the mission God has given us to fill our city with the good news of Jesus.

City is entirely dependent on the sacrificial giving of the church family and friends. Under God, our mission and ministry within and beyond our walls happens as we partner together to fund the work.

Please do consider how God might be asking you to play your part. And as you do, please also remember that our giving is a Spirit wrought work of God, and is all for Him and his glory. We offer ourselves to God, and our giving is joyful part of our worship of Him.

“Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.” (1 Chronicles 29:14)

How to give to city

If you would prefer to pay directly to our bank account via standing order or for a one-off gift, please email giving@city-church.org.uk for details.

To amend existing standing orders please use your online banking facility or contact your bank.
