If you are in school years 7 to 13, or a school leaver up to 18 years old, we would love to welcome you to City Youth, whatever your beliefs and background. We meet twice a week in term times.
Details for the groups below are currently to be confirmed for September 2020, after the last term and a half of City Youth activities in the 2019-2020 school year took place by Zoom rather than in person. Watch this space, or better still, contact email@example.com for details as to what the coming term might look like.
City Youth (Fridays)
for school years 7-9:
Fridays 7.00-8.45pm, City @ Tiv Road, 29 Tiverton Rd, Selly Oak, B29 6BW.
City Youth runs themed games and activities each week alongside an opportunity for young people, whether Christians or not, to learn about, discuss and consider the Christian faith for themselves.
City Youth at home
for school years 10-13:
Fridays 7.15-9.15pm, contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more details
This is our older group, and meets informally in the home or two of our leaders. We spend some time considering and discussing the Christian faith, together with chat, games, and frequent social activities.
City Youth (Sundays)
for school years 7-13:
6-8pm, The Octagon/Prep Hall, Edgbaston High School for Girls, Westbourne Road B15 3BE.
On Sundays evenings, City Youth meets around the evening service. Sometimes we stay in the service for the sermon before coming out to discuss it how it applies to life as a teenager, play games and enjoy chat and snacks. On other occasions we don't take part in the service, and have more time for our own programme of teaching, discussion, games and food.
The City Youth year also includes weekends away and a variety of other special events and activities. If you have a question, or for more information about any of the above, email our Families Worker Tim Hay: email@example.com
