Women's Ministry

City Church is committed to ensuring that the women of the church are valued, and encouraged to grow in our faith and develop our gifts, through all of the opportunities and challenges we face as women.

There are a number of opportunities through which women can be encouraged and trained. There is a culture of more mature Christians meeting with younger Christians 1:1 and we have some established prayer triplets. Women’s breakfasts happen a couple of times each term and “Prepared to Serve” is a training course designed specifically to encourage able women in ministry.  If yu would like more information about any of these things, contact Claire (claire@city-church.org.uk) or Emily (emily@city-church.org.uk)

Women’s breakfast

Women’s breakfasts are an informal opportunity for women to get together. It is a great way for new people to get know other women and for more familiar faces to have time to chat. We share delicious food and have some Bible teaching from other women.

Women of all different ages and stages come along, from students through to retired people. For the academic year 2018-2019 we will be looking at some of the Psalms, and will have a visiting missionary speaker.

The next breakfast is planned for Saturday 29th September at 9.30 am at City @ Tiv Road.
