City Youth

City Youth

If you are in school years 7 to 13, or a school leaver up to 18 years old, City Church would love to welcome you to City Youth!  City Youth is for young people from families attending City Church, but also open to other young people, with their parents’ consent.  We meet twice a week to hear the Bible taught in a relevant and engaging way, thinking through how it applies to our lives, and enjoying time together through a wide range of activities and games.

Sunday Nights

6-8pm, Edgbaston High School for Girls, Westbourne Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham, B15 3TS

On Sunday evenings we encourage you to join us at 6pm for City Church’s evening service. Sometimes our teaching programme will be based on the sermon that is preached during that service. At other times we’ll leave the service earlier to focus on our own teaching programme. Either way, we’ll be spending time in age-related small groups thinking through how God’s Word applies to us as 11-18 year olds, as well as playing games. Parents should collect their young people at 8pm.

Friday Nights

7.15-8.45pm (doors open at 7pm), 29 Tiverton Road, Selly Oak, Birmingham, B29 6BW

Our Friday meetings also include Bible teaching, as well as time to hang out with friends, and to enjoy a variety of activities and games including table tennis and pool. Fridays are also a great opportunity to bring friends along. The session ends at 8.45pm.

The City Youth year also includes a weekend away and a variety of special events and activities. Broadly, we meet every Friday and Sunday night in term time, but do get in touch with any questions and to receive more detailed information about when we are meeting and when not.
