Neil and Jane Powell
Neil is married to Jane and they have a son, Rufus. Neil is involved with student work, heading up the world mission action group and evangelism. Neil and Jane co-lead the Shenley Fields Road homegroup

John and Ursula Stevens
John is married to Ursula and they are proud parents of Harriet, Oliver, Madeleine and Rosy. John speaks regularly at CU meetings in the Midlands and is also a member of BUECU Advisory group. He is also a member of the Midlands Gospel Partnership steering committee and runs the Midlands Ministry Training Course.

Hugh Thomson
Hugh works for City Church and also as a hospital doctor one day a week. He heads up our local community outreach. Hugh also teaches the bible regularly in Africa, and with Christian Medical Fellowship.

Laurie Fearon
Laurie is a deacon and is our Church Manager and Treasurer. Laurie is married to Sue, who is a deacon and heads up our 'City Kids' work for 2 to 7's.
Annie Leggett
Annie is a deacon and works with students and women of all ages in the church and runs our "Christianity Explored" groups. She also co-leads the Gordon Road homegroup.
John 'Jonti' Taylor
Jonti is married to Fiona and they have recently made the move up from London and work at St Helen's Church for Jonti to start working with students here in Birmingham. Before that both of them studied at Nottingham University.
Kathryn Moore
Kathryn is married to Jonny. She arrived in Birmingham in 2000 as a student and has stayed on to work with students, first as a Relay worker with UCCF and then joined the staff team as a student worker meeting up and reading the Bible with the female students in the church.
David and Valerie Hornsby
David and Valerie Hornsby are deacons and International student work co-ordinators. They come from a background of work with Scripture Union and with Christians in Romania. They were TEFL teachers at the Baptist Seminary in Bucharest and have run camps for students and young people in Romania and England.
Ministry Trainees
Dave Leak
Dave Leak recently graduated from the Uni of Birmingham with a degree in History. Originating from High Barnet, North London, he enjoys playing guitar, drinking tea and watching the Beautiful Game. (Football, of course)
Barnaby Pain
Barnaby Pain studied French and Film Studies at Exeter University. While enjoying free food, board games and cycling, his passions in life are big beards, animal impressions and quoting films!
Kate Rogers
Kate Rogers studied at the University of Birmingham and is now in her second year as a Ministry Trainee. This year she is working with female students and children. She loves baking and settling down with a nice cup of tea.
Rob Spurling
Rob Spurling graduated from the University of Birmingham with a degree in Geography/colouring in. He likes playing and watching sport, especially Tennis, Football and Table Tennis, and a spot of banter with the lads.
Hannah Wisby
Hannah Wisby is from lovely Swansea and is the token UCE graduate of the MT team. She studied at the conservatoire and still enjoys playing piano for as long as her fingers will let her. She’s not at all athletic but is an enthusiastic Welsh rugby fan - still waiting for them to reach their full potential!
Jonathan Wu
Jonathan Wu is a second year ministry trainee working with students, including Internationals. Hailing from Singapore, he has been an international student himself for four years, reading English literature at the Universities of Oxford and York. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, watching anime and attempting to play the tin whistle.

Becky and Magnus Eyles
Magnus and Becky lead the Yew Croft Avenue homegroup and are part of the Pastoral Support Team for the Church.
Doug and Sarah Mullen
Doug and Sarah co-lead the Charlotte Road homegroup and Doug also chairs our employment committee.
Mark Senior
Mark is married to Louise, and is our deacon responsible for heading up the music at the Church.

Richard and Yvonne are part of the Pastoral Support Team for the Church.
