If you are already a Christian

We would love to help Christian international students not just survive, but grow in their faith during their time in the UK, and prepare for a return home.

The best way you can do that is by coming along to our Discipleship Group for international students. This happens at our Tiverton Road building in Selly Oak on a Tuesday evening. We meet at the same time and place as the Discovery Evenings, eat together from 6.30 p.m. and begin at 7.30 p.m.

The Discipleship Group is an opportunity to grow in your relationship with God, to befriend and belong to a small group of people going through some of the same things as you. Three weeks out of four it is a Bible study, and on the fourth week we look at what the Bible has to say about a topic of particular importance to Christian international students.

If you have a good level of English, you may also be interested in joining City Church's student Bible study groups called Student Plus. Student Plus groups run every Sunday evening during term time after the evening church meeting. Student Plus is a programme of small group Bible studies, followed by prayer, some pizza, and a lift home! If you are keen to join, contact tim@city-church.org.uk.
